Next Meeting Monday 22nd July : Club Construction Projects

The next Club meeting is Monday 22nd July and is all about home construction. As usual, the meeting is on the top floor of the Irish Club, Manor Field, Bletchley, starting at 19.30 sharp.

Phil, G4FVZ, will initially give an introduction to the Club Construction Competition, scheduled for later in the year (7th October).

Phil will then talk about, and present, a series of potential Club construction projects that our members might want to make, or adapt, to enhance their shack.

We could then undertake these as Club construction projects. PCB's for all the project should be available, although adaption and component sourcing will be up to members.

Club Overview and Programme for 2nd Half of 2019

The Club meets in upstairs meeting room at the Irish Centre (Manor Fields, Watling Street, Bletchley, MK2 2HX).

Our club meetings are generally held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, and all meetings start at 19.30 sharp.

Please note that our monthly shack night for the foreseeable future will be held on the 3rd Monday of each month at our Bletchley Park shack, GB2BP, in T.S Invincible, Bld 55.

At shack nights we would like our newer members to come along & operate our station, using the call sign GB2BP. Partake in some logging, discuss operating technique, and generally get the feel for operating, ask questions about CW, HF, Digital Modes & any other radio related subjects. It would also be nice to see the new Intermediate licence holders to make an appearance, you will be able to operate (under supervision) GB2BP with 100 Watts!

Club Programme for 2019 For 2nd Half of 2019

The Club's comprehensive meeting programme for the rest of 2019 is now loaded onto our Club diary. We have a lot to look forward to, including the upcoming MKARS Rally, HF NFD, and the Club construction Competition leading up to our AGM and awards night in mid-October.
